Mr. William Eugene Virts, 66, a resident of Front Royal, Va. Formerly of Lovettsville, Va., died Tuesday, May 7 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. Mr. Virts, was born Aug. 13, 1924, at Lovettsville, the son of the late Thomas and Pauline Virts. Mr. Virts was the husband of Sarah Catherine Virts who died Dec. 26, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Barkley Garcia and Kathy Virts Cook, both of Front Royal; three sons, William Eugene Virts, Jr. of Stephen City, Va., Roger Lee Virts of Front Royal, and Thomas Douglas Virts of White Post. Va.; two sisters, Evelyn Pierce of Middleburg, Va., and Shirley Edwards of Lovettsville; a brother Chester Virts of Purcellville, Va.; and five grandchildren. Interment was in the Mt. Olivet Methodist Cemetery, Lovettsville.
