      Charles W. Arnold, 61, merchant at Guinea or Britain, near Lovettsville, Va., for the past 39 years, died Wednesday night in Garfield Hospital, Washington, of complications. He had been removed from Loudoun Hospital to the Washington hospital late Friday. He was a son of the late John J. and Lydia Everhart Arnold and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nisewarner Arnold, a son, Carroll, at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Pearson, Lovettsville, and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in Mt. Olivet church after meeting at the late residence at 1:30 o'clock. Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery, Lovettsville. R. E. Brown funeral director.
