He married Ann Elizabeth Baker on October 8, 1867. She was born August 25, 1848 in Loudoun County Virginia to Joseph Curtis Mary Jane Cole Baker. She died December 30, 1919 in Loudoun County. Both Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery, Taylorstown, Virginia.
