She was born November 29, 1868 in Virginia and died June 15, 1940 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Both are buried in the Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia.

Source Unknown. Isaac Mortimore Verts, 91, passed away at his home in Nelson. He was born in Loudoun County, Va., May 1, 1865. He was the son of Joseph and Eliza Baker Verts and the last surviving member of a family of 13. He came to Missouri in 1888 and to Nelson in 1901. He was married in Booneville to Miss Minnie Tucker, November 8, 1898. For many years he operated a general merchandise store in Nelson and was also a carpenter and cabinetmaker. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Verts, of home in Nelson; four sours, Jerome, Ned Lee and Shuck Verts of Nelson and Virgil Verts, Marshall. He was preceded in death by a son William Trigg Verts, April 30, 1936. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery.
