Annie Bell Catherine Demory was born February 7, 1885 in Loudoun County Virginia to John William and Jane Priscilla Virts Demory and died February 15, 1969 in Frederick, Maryland. She married Harry Benjamin Funk on June 1, 1904. He was born June 21, 1872 in Loudoun County Virginia and died February 26, 1930 in Brunswick, Maryland. Both are buried in Mt.Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland.

Mrs. Annie Bell Demory Funk, 84 of Brunswick, widow of Harry B. Funk, died Saturday morning at the Frederick Nursing Home after a brief illness. Born in Loudoun County, Va., she was the last of eleven children of the late John W. and Jane Virts Demory. She was a resident of Brunswick for the past 65 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eva F. Magalis of Rosemont, two sons, John B. Funk of Lutherville and Raymond D. Funk of Brunswick, six grand-children, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Feete Funeral Home in Brunswick today from 2-4 and -7-9 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Warner officiating. Entombment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Frederick.
