      Notice that Charles R. Skinker, Jr., aged 49, died Monday night in Los Angeles, Cal., was received by Frederick S. Valentine, his brother-in-law, yesterday.

      Mrs. Skinker, who was born in Richmond, May 20, 1871, was the son of the late Major Charles R. Skinker and Rose Leslie (Allen) Skinker. He lived for many years where the Monroe Terrace Apartments now are.

      He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Nellie Shortell, of St. Louis, and one daughter, Miss Rose L. Skinker. He is survived also by his mother, Mrs. Rose L. Skinker, and one sister, Mrs. Frederick S. Valentine. Funeral services will be held in Los Angeles, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
