Bessie Elizabeth Sanbower, 87, a life-long resident of the Lovettsville are, died Dec. 19 at her home in Lovettsville. She was born Nov. 14, 1895 in Loudoun, a daughter of Calvin L. and Katherine Snyder Everhart. Her husband Verna E. Sanbower, died in January 1976. Surviving are one daughter, Katherine Pfeifer of Frederick, Md.; two sons, Reginald V. Sanbower and H. Atlee Sanbower, both of Lovettsville. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
Note: Mt. Olivet Church, Lovettsville, VA, birth records show her name as Carrie Elizabeth.
