Charles A. Eldridge, 90, of 538 Guilford Ave., died at the Washington County Hospital Wednesday afternoon. Born in Myersville, Md. He was a son of the late John Harp and Lillian Virts Eldridge. He had been one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses since 1909 and had served as a ministerial servant with the West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses here. Since 1913, he and his brothers operated a dairy farm. Since 1930, he operated the Eldridgee Massage Parlor at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Della Remsburg Eldridge of Hagerstown; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Stillwell of Hagerstown; one son, Francis R. Eldridge of Milton, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Viola C. Elliot of Hagerstown and two brothers, Clarence V. Eldridge of Hagerstown and Russell A. Eldridge of Georgetown, Md.; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Coffman Funeral Home Saturday at 11 a.m. Mr. Robert B. McKinley will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
