    • R. . Eugene Virts 90, of Orlando, Fl. passed away December 28, 2012. Born in Charleston, W. VA, on July 24, 1922, he was a 1941 Graduate of Hagerstown High School. He was employed as a Public Relations Photographer for both Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown, MD from 1945 to 1960 and Lockheed Martin Co. in Orlando, Fl. Where he retired in 1988. He was a member of Professional Photographers - winning several awards. During World War II, he served in the 31st Chemical co 12th Army GP Amphibious Force in Europe - Normandy to Germany. Survived by daughter, Vickie Collins of Bushnell, Fl; grandson, Wesley Collins; nieces, Deborah Hamilton of Hagerstown, MD and Beverly Greig. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Isabelle and Milton Virts; brother, William Virts, all were from Hagerstown, MD.

      Ararngements are being made by Minnich Funeral Home at 415 E. Wilson Boulevard, in Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
