      Delores "Sue" Suanne Ziler, 77, of Great Cacapon, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.

      Born December 22, 1935 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles Rodney and Maxine Elliott Ridgeway Higman.

      She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Great Cacapon.

      She attended public schools in both Hagerstown and Great Cacapon.

      She had worked as a secretary with Senior Life Services of Morgan County. She had been a homemaker in recent years. She liked to crochet.

      She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ward "Joe" Ziler, at home; one son, Darryl Joe Ziler, Berkeley Springs; one sister, Jeannie Harmison, Ravenswood; two grandsons, Darryl Luke Ziler, Berkeley Springs and Joel Michael Ziler, Martinsburg; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carlos Higman.

      Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 25 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Rock Gap Road and Central Avenue (Route 9), Great Cacapon, with Pastor Dick Voorhaar officiating. Interment will be at Great Cacapon Cemetery.

      The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs with one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
