FARMINGTON - Annabelle M. Azbell, 68, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of rural Farmington, died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa.
Born Nov. 11, 1934, in Knox County to Leonard and Nina Spence Senders, she married Phillip E. Azbell on July 12, 1953, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jon (and the Rev. Julie) of Lincoln; one daughter, Tana Long of Mesa; one brother, Keith Sanders of Galesburg; four sisters, Jean Scalf of Peoria, Ariz., Georgia Auld and Mary Barnes, both of Canton, and Phyllis Atchley of Norris; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
She worked for Sears for more than 30 years until retiring.
She was a member of Women of the Moose 470 and the Rebekah Lodge.
She was a member of Norris United Methodist Church in Norris.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. The Revs. Rick Atchley and Julie Azbell will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rebekah rites being accorded at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery in rural Fairview.
