      Harold E. Byers, 78, of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at University Hospital in Cleveland.

      Harold was born October 7, 1932, in Graysville, Ohio to Alonzo and Edith (Hall) Byers.
      He married Doris Marty on September 6, 1953.

      He was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church and past president of the Kiwanis Club. Harold worked for Rittman Paperboard for 37 years. He volunteered for the Meals On Wheels program. He graduated from Hannibal High School. Harold received his Bachelors degree and Masters in Business Administration from Ohio University.

      Harold will be deeply missed by his wife, Doris; children, Barbara (Rick) Little of Dalton, Pa., Diane Shreve and David Byers both of Wadsworth, Ohio; grandchildren, Noah and Spencer Shreve and Rachel Little; brother, Donald Byers of Madison, Ohio, numerous nieces and nephews.

      Memorial services will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Wadsworth United Methodist Church at 1 P.M., Wadsworth, with Pastor Jim Winkler officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
