  Son of William and Sarah Southers AZBELL. He was born in Belmont OH and it is there that he met and married Ana Marie Timmermen in 1845. In 1845 William and Sarah and their extended family moved to Fulton Co., IL. Lorenzon and Ana Marie, just newly wed followed the family settling in Pleasent, Fulton Co., IL. It is there that that raised 8 children: Erma, Ranee, Sherman, Tamer, Mary, Garner, Samuel and John.
