Mr. Raymond Harvey Baker Sr., 56, of Frederick Road, Clarksburg, died Friday, Nov. 20, at Montgomery General Hospital, Olney. He was the husband of Helen Beach Baker.
Born Aug. 10,1925, in Leesburg, Va., he was a son of the late Denzle D. and Ina McLin Baker.
Mr. Baker was a retired farmer and a member of the Greenridge Baptist Church, Clarksburg.
Surviving, besides his wife, are the following children: Mrs. Dolores Adcock of Damascus, Douglas R. Baker of Wolfsville, Paul E. Baker of Dickerson, Raymond H. Baker Jr. of Gaithersburg, and Kenneth H. Baker, Mary E. Baker and B. Rose Baker all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Leith, Gaithersburg and Mrs. Margaret Carter, Middletown; three brothers William Baker of Waterford, Va., and Otho Baker and Harry Baker, both of Leesburg, Va.; and four grandsons and two granddaughters.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23. The Rev. Richard
Drehmer, Greenridge Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Monocacy
Cemetery, Beallsville.
Bearers were Carl Dunn, Charles Whirley, Ray Adcock, Tommy Ward, Arthur Johnson and Dave Lance. Interment was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
Mr. Baker was the husband of Helen Beach Baker.
