  La Von Caldwell 89 year old Bridgeport resident, La Von Caldwell, died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, December 4th, 2002 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert of Albion and Ben of Chrisman, Il.; 2 daughters, Rose Mary Post of Big Bear, California and June Ann Berk of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Rosa Lee Hupman of Greenville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7th at the Bridgeport United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Sumner City Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation. The Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Bridgeport United Presbyterian Church.
