Wallace Beavers Fleming, 80, of Purcellville, died Nov. 22 at Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg.
He was born Oct. 7, 1928, in Leesburg to Wallace B. and Grace E. Fleming and was a lifelong citizen of Loudoun County.
He worked for the Virginia Electric and Power Company for 35 years before retiring in 1990. He was also a long-time member of the Purcellville Volunteer Fire Department and served on its board of directors for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ann; daughter Carolyn of Purcellville, sons James of Airmont and Richard of Bluemont; grandchildren Todd, Alexander, Andrew, Nicolas, Brandon and Meghan; and brother Maurice Fleming of Hamilton. Graveside services were held Nov. 25 at Hillsboro Cemetery.
