LORENA MALINDA MAE PAPPALARDO, 69, of Reno Monument Road, Middletown, MD, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born September 3, 1938 in Knoxville, MD, she was the daughter of Annie V. Cooper Koontz of Jefferson, MD and the late Leroy W. Martin Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her step father, Ralph L. Koontz.
She was preceded in death by a previous husband, William Lerch.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of God of Knoxville.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Anthony V. Pappalardo, Sr.; daughter, Eugenia Stephens, Hagerstown; step daughter, Carla Pappalardo, Wheaton, MD; step sons, Joseph Pappalardo, Augusta County, VA and Anthony Pappalardo, Jr., Denver, CO; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William "Petie" Cooper.
Funeral services were held at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro; burial was in Knoxville Reformed Cemetery.
