HARDINSBURG - Joe Wethington, 73, of Hardinsburg, died Friday, March 29, 1991, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg. He was born in Breckinridge County, was a retired farmer and was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church, Hardinsburg.
Survivors include his wife, Lillia Wethington; five sons, Raymond Wethington and Larry Wethington, both of Hardinsburg, Gerald Wethington of Valley Station, Johnny Wethington of Homestead, Fla., and Donny Wethington of Shepardsville; seven daughters, Ann Stivers, Helen Merrick, Janice McGraw and Cathy Wethington, all of Louisville, Lucye Dobbs of Nashville, Tenn., Pauline Thorn of Cannelton, Ind., and Alice Popham of Mooleyville; 37 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Golan Wethington of Custon, Jim Wethington of Hardinsburg and Maurice Wethington of Hawesville; and four sisters, Dora Bruington of Harned, Regina Oelze of Hardinsburg, Irene Miller of Rhodelia and Pauline Henninger of Mt. Sterling, Ill.
Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Romuald Catholic Church, Hardinsburg. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, where prayers will be said at 8 p.m. tonight.
