HAWESVILLE - Maurice E. Wethington Sr., 74, of Hawesville died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Breckinridge County native was a farmer, a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hawesville and worked at American Olean Tire.
Survivors include his wife, Sally A. Wethington; four sons, Edward Wethington, Paul D. Wethington and Charles F. Wethington, all of Hawesville, and Bernard A. Wethington of Lewisport; two daughters, Nancye M. Wells of Cloverport and Betty A. Mangun of Hawesville; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church near Cloverport. Burial will be in Old St. Rose Cemetery near Hawesville. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Wallace Funeral Home in Cloverport. Prayers will be said at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
