- ROSE HILL, VA. Bertha E. Seale, 86, died Tuesday (May 30, 2000) at her residence. A lifelong resident of Lee County, VA., she was a homemaker and a member of Ball s Chapel Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Seale; one son, J.G. Seale; and her parents, James and Vina Lee. Surviving are one son, Charles Seale, Three Rivers, Mich.; three daughters, Rosanna Jerrell, Rose Hill, VA., Betty Smith, Ewing, VA., and Janice Martin, Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Johnson and the Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating. Burial will be in the Lee Family Cemetery, Rose Hill, VA. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
