Genelle Maxwell, 84, Louisville, Illinois died 25 March 2004 at Clay County Hospital, Flora, Illinois.
The funeral was at Red Brush Christian Church, Louisville, Illinois with the Rev. Dusty Elmore officiating. Burial was in the Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Red Brush Christian Church Building and will be accepted at the Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, Illinois.
Mrs. Maxwell was born 6 October 1919 in Clay County the daughter of Otto and Lillie Hord Cochran. She married William Homer Maxwell on 28 March 1941 and he proceded her in death in 1992.
She was retired from the North Clay school district and was a member of Red Brush Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Marla (Bill) Bayler, Olney, Illinois; two grandchildren, Amanda (Zac) Beehn, and Nathan Bayler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son,Larry Maxwell; two brothers, Charles and James Cochran, and one sister, Iris Leach.
