  Post Tribune, May 21, 2011 Esserman, Margaret C. Margaret C. Esserman, age 95 of Springfield, IL and formerly of Liberty Twp. passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Springfield, IL. She was born on June 16, 1915 in Chicago to Gunder and Maggie (McNabb) Kjos. Margaret and her husband, Walter owned and operated the family business, Esserman Strawberry Farm, in Liberty Twp. and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Hobart. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Harmon of Springfield, IL; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Laura) and Nathan Harmon; 1 great grandson, Dexter Harmon; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Esserman; and brother, George Kjos. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday May 22nd at 1:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso with Rev. Gerald Walworth officiating. Burial will be private at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Memorial Medical Center Foundation, One Memorial Plaza Springfield, IL 62781-0001.
