Mr. James Wilmer Baker, 56, of Round Hill, Va., a World War II veteran, died Monday, July 4, at Veterans Administration Center at Martinsburg, W. Va.
He was a son of the late Wilmer and Alverda Tracy Baker. Hew as member of the VFW, Loudoun County Post 4468 at Purcellville, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona Fisher Baker; one son, James Lee Baker, Round Hill, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Hanes of Reston, Va., and one grandson and a number of nieces and nephews; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Virts of Lovettsville, Va.; Mrs. Madge Frye of Lucketts, Va.; and Mrs. Janet Frocke, Brunswick.
Friends may call at the R. E. Brown Funeral Home, Lovettsville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 6. The Rev. Lupton Simpson will officiate. Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Va.
