  York Daily Record, February 5, 2006 Ruth Beatrice (Boogher) Landes, 91, died Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Rest HavenYork. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Landes. Graveside service Tuesday at Mount Rose Cemetery, her pastor, the Rev. Bob Wallace, Calvary United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Landes was born May 9, 1914, in Manheim, WV, a daughter of the late Frank and Martha J. (Hooten) Boogher. She was a graduate of William Penn Senior High, Class of 1931 and later graduated from Prowell's Business School. She was employed as a secretary by the former Borg Warner Corp., The Brotherhood of Saint Andrews, and retired from Working Insurance Agency. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Mrs. Landes is survived by a stepson; two step grandsons, Keith and Scott Landes; four step great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
