  Richmond Times Dispatch, December 16, 1926 Winchester, Va. - Dec. 15- The body of Mrs. Mary Bragonier Moore, 84, widow of Colonel Lewis T. Moore, who was found dead yesterday in her old home at Sharpsburg, Md., was brought here last night and funeral services will be held tomorrow in Christ Episcopal Church. Since the sudden death of her husband here some years ago, she had lived with her daughter, Miss Katherine Moore at Sharpsburg. When Miss Moore awoke yesterday, she found her mother dead in bed. A doctor gave a certificate of death due to heart attack. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Bragonier family of that section. Shortly after the Civil War she was married to Colonel Moore, a Winchester lawyer, who commanded all the Frederick County troops at the John Brown insurrection, trial and execution in Jefferson County, and afterward in the Confederate Army.
