Donald A. Desilet, 82, Clyde, died Sunday, July 16, 1995, at the Clay County Hospital, Clay Center. Mr. Desilet was born April 25, 1913, at Talmo and was a former Concordia resident. He worked with his uncle in the cattle trucking business. He was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Concordia.
Survivors include seven daughters, Donna Brummett of Hutchinson, Susie Brock of Garland, Texas, Mary Collins of Meeker, Colo., Denise Nixon of Olathe, Debbie Lowe of Topeka, Marly Jackson of Clifton and Becky Ballard of Newton; two sons, Ronald Patrick of Monument, Colo., and Mike of Rochester, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, the Rev. Henry Kieffer and Monsignor Armand Girard officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia.
Memorials may be made to Park Villa Care Home.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, 325 W. Sixth St., Box 606, Concordia 66901.
