    • Pearl L. Price, 96, of Twisp, died Feb. 25, 1998, at the Valley Care Center in Okanogan.

      Pearl was born April 24, 1901, in Lakeside, Wash., to Josef and Neva (McConnell) Liebl. She was one of 10 children raised by her family in the Carlton area. At the age of 21 she moved to Montana where she worked in the restaurant business. Then at the age of 30 she moved to Nevada.

      She married James D. Jones in Nevada. Then they moved on to California and then the Coast, moving back to the Methow Valley in 1953.

      She married Harold W. Price in Twisp, March 31, 1975.

      She was a member of the Methow Valley Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Twisp United Methodist Church.

      She is survived by two stepdaughters, Lucille Graham of Portland, Ore., and Dorothy Kittrell of Twisp; one stepson, Kenneth Price of Pomeroy; one brother, George Liebl of Twisp; and one sister, Frances Arnold of El Cajon, Calif. She was preceded in death by two husbands, three brothers, four sisters and one stepdaughter.
